Anti-CK12 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CK12 is a known alias name of the protein keratin 12, encoded by the KRT12 gene in humans. This 494-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in corneal epithelium organization, integrity and corneal keratin expression. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the corneal epithelium. Other synonyms for CK12 include K12, MECD1, and keratin, type I cytoskeletal 12. Indicated applications for CK12 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
