Anti-FTZ-F1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FTZ-F1 antigen is another term for the human protein nuclear receptor subfamily 5 group A member 1, encoded by the NR5A1 gene. The protein is known to be a type of transcriptional activator. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 461 residues and a mass of 51.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is found to be highly expressed in the adrenal cortex, the ovary, the testis, and the spleen. The FTZ-F1 protein is a member of the Nuclear hormone receptor protein family. Other alias names for FTZ-F1 include AD4BP, AD4BP, and ELP.
