Anti-ADAR3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ADAR3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ADARB2 gene, which encodes adenosine deaminase RNA specific B2 (inactive). This protein is known to function in mRNA processing, among other biological roles. The human version of ADAR3 has a canonical amino acid length of 739 residues and a protein mass of 80.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells.
