Anti-SAP102 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SAP102 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DLG3 gene, which encodes discs large MAGUK scaffold protein 3. This protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of SAP102 has a canonical amino acid length of 817 residues and a protein mass of 90.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, and cerebellum. Other names for this target antigen include MRX, MRX90, and NEDLG. These SAP102 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
