Anti-AAV antibodies are available for research in infectious disease. The Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a type of non-enveloped, single-stranded DNA virus initially associated with adenoviruses infection. AAV is not currently known to cause disease, but AAV viruses can infect humans and integrate within the genome. This feat makes the AAV vector ideal for gene therapy applications. The genome encodes two open reading frames, rep and cap. Visit the antibody supplier page for further details, including target antigen, tested applications, and more.
