Anti-CD213a2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD213a2 is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 13 receptor subunit alpha 2, encoded by the IL13RA2 gene in humans. This 380-amino acid residue protein is known to bind as a monomer with high affinity to interleukin-13 (IL13), but not to interleukin-4 (IL4). It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Western Blot is the most common application for the CD213a2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
