Anti-PGFS antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PGFS antigen is another term for the human protein aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C3, encoded by the AKR1C3 gene. The protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 323 residues and a mass of 36.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in many tissues including adrenal gland, brain, kidney, liver, lung, mammary gland, placenta, small intestine, colon, spleen, prostate and testis. The PGFS protein is a member of the Aldo/keto reductase protein family. Other alias names for PGFS include DD3, DDX, and HA1753. Western Blot is the most common application for the PGFS antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
