Anti-hCAP-D3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target hCAP-D3 is a known alias name of the protein non-SMC condensin II complex subunit D3, encoded by the NCAPD3 gene in humans. This 1498-amino acid residue protein is a regulatory subunit of the condensin-2 complex, a complex which establishes mitotic chromosome architecture and is involved in physical rigidity of the chromatid axis.
