Anti-Cyclin B2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CCNB2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 398 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.3 kDa. A member of the Cyclin protein family, it is known to be important for the control of the cell cycle at the G2/M (mitosis) transition. Other names for this target antigen include HsT17299 and G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B2.
