Anti-G1P3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the G1P3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IFI6 gene, which encodes interferon alpha inducible protein 6. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and viral immune response, among other biological roles. The human version of G1P3 has a canonical amino acid length of 130 residues and a protein mass of 12.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include 45093 and FAM14C. Indicated applications for G1P3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
