Anti-FcRn antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene FCGRT, or 'Fc fragment of IgG receptor and transporter' in humans. The 365-amino acid protein is a member of the Immunoglobulin superfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
