Anti-CATALASE antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CAT in humans. The CATALASE protein has a reported amino acid length of 527 and an expected mass of 59.8 kDa. The protein may also be known as epididymis secretory sperm binding protein. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
