Anti-Calcitonin Receptor-Like Receptor antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Calcitonin Receptor-Like Receptor antigen is another term for the human protein calcitonin receptor like receptor, encoded by the CALCRL gene. The protein is a known receptor for calcitonin-gene-related peptide (CGRP) together with RAMP1 and receptor for adrenomedullin together with RAMP3 (By similarity). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 461 residues and a mass of 53 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be highly expressed in the the lung and heart. The Calcitonin Receptor-Like Receptor protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 2 protein family.
