Anti-FAG antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FAG is a known alias name of the protein FA complementation group G, encoded by the FANCG gene in humans. This 622-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and DNA repair, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the testis and thymus. Other synonyms for FAG include XRCC9 and Fanconi anemia group G protein. Western Blot is the most common application for the FAG antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
