Anti-Endothelin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene EDN1 in humans. The Endothelin 1 protein has a reported amino acid length of 212 and an expected mass of 24.4 kDa. The protein may also be known as ET1, ARCND3, HDLCQ7, PPET1, and preproendothelin-1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
