Anti-CLB antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLB antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CLYBL gene, which encodes citramalyl-CoA lyase. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CLB has a canonical amino acid length of 340 residues and a protein mass of 37.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CLB is a member of the HpcH/HpaI aldolase protein family. Indicated applications for CLB antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
