Anti-CCDC28B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 28B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 200 amino acid residues and a mass of 22 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. CCDC28B is known to be involved in ciliogenesis. The CCDC28B gene has been associated with the disease, Bardet-Biedl syndrome. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 28B. CCDC28B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CCDC28B antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
