Anti-GLI family zinc finger 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GLI1 in humans. The gene may also be known as PAPA8, PPD1, zinc finger protein GLI1, and GLI-Kruppel family member GLI1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 117.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
