Anti-NAP57 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NAP57 antigen is another term for the human protein dyskerin pseudouridine synthase 1, encoded by the DKC1 gene. The protein is a known catalytic subunit of H/ACA small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein (H/ACA snoRNP) complex, which catalyzes pseudouridylation of rRNA. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 514 residues and a mass of 57.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The NAP57 protein is a member of the Pseudouridine synthase TruB protein family. Other alias names for NAP57 include CBF5, CBF5, and DKC.
