Anti-TAF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TAF is a known alias name of the protein insulin like growth factor binding protein 7, encoded by the IGFBP7 gene in humans. This 282-amino acid residue protein is known to bind IGF-I and IGF-II with a relatively low affinity. The protein is secreted and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications.
