Anti-ROS-GC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ROS-GC2 is a known alias name of the protein guanylate cyclase 2F, retinal, encoded by the GUCY2F gene in humans. This 1108-amino acid residue protein is known to be important for the synthesis of cyclic GMP (cGMP) in rods and cones of photoreceptors. Other synonyms for ROS-GC2 include CYGF, GC-F, and GUC2DL.
