Anti-CTIP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CTIP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RBBP8 gene, which encodes RB binding protein 8, endonuclease. This protein is known to function in cell division and DNA repair, among other biological roles. The human version of CTIP has a canonical amino acid length of 897 residues and a protein mass of 101.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include COM1 and JAWAD. Western Blot is the most common application for the CTIP antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
