Anti-INS-IGF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein INS-IGF2 readthrough. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 200 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, eye and, to a lower extent, in limb. Synonyms for this target antigen include INS-IGF2 readthrough transcript protein, insulin- insulin-like growth factor 2 read-through product, and insulin, isoform 2. INS-IGF2 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat species. Some INS-IGF2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
