Anti-CAH1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CAH1 is a known alias name of the protein cytochrome P450 family 21 subfamily A member 2, encoded by the CYP21A2 gene in humans. This 494-amino acid residue protein is a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase that plays a major role in adrenal steroidogenesis. It is localized to the ER of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in the adrenal gland. Other synonyms for CAH1 include CA21H and CPS1. Western Blot is the most common application for the CAH1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
