Anti-RAB26 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB26, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 256 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and Golgi. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. It is a member of the Rab protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-related protein Rab-26, Ras-related oncogene protein, and V46133. RAB26 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chicken species. A number of RAB26 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
