Anti-V-set and transmembrane domain containing 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene VSTM1 in humans. The gene may also be known as SIRL1, SIRL-1, UNQ3033, V-set and transmembrane domain-containing protein 1, and LAIR homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 26.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
