Anti-OR5T1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily T member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 326 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR5T1 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR11-179, olfactory receptor, family 5, subfamily T, member 1 pseudogene, and olfactory receptor 5T1. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the OR5T1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
