Anti-SAMD13 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sterile alpha motif domain containing 13. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 122 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.6 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Synonyms for this target antigen include SAM domain-containing protein 13, dnaj-like protein (LOC148418), and sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 13. SAMD13 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These SAMD13 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
