Anti-HNRPC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HNRPC is a known alias name of the protein heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C, encoded by the HNRNPC gene in humans. This 306-amino acid residue protein is known to bind pre-mRNA and nucleates the assembly of 40S hnRNP particles. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features sumoylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for HNRPC include C1, C2, and HNRNP. Western Blot is the most common application for the HNRPC antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
