Anti-OR7A5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 7 subfamily A member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 319 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR7A5 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell and signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 7A5, olfactory receptor OR19-17, olfactory receptor TPCR92, olfactory receptor, family 7, subfamily A, member 5 pseudogene, and HTPCR2. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR7A5 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
