Anti-IMAP3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IMAP3 is a known alias name of the protein GTPase, IMAP family member 5, encoded by the GIMAP5 gene in humans. This 307-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in T lymphocyte development and the optimal generation of CD4/CD8 double-positive thymocytes (By similarity). It is localized to the lysosomes of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be widely expressed with high levels in lymph node and spleen. Other synonyms for IMAP3 include HIMAP3, IAN-5, and IAN4. Indicated applications for IMAP3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
