Anti-Wnt-4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Wnt-4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the WNT4 gene, which encodes Wnt family member 4. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the Wnt signaling pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of Wnt-4 has a canonical amino acid length of 351 residues and a protein mass of 39.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include SERKAL, protein Wnt-4, and wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 4. Western Blot is the most common application for the Wnt-4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
