Anti-Rac family small GTPase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RAC1 in humans. The gene may also be known as p21-Rac1, TC-25, MIG5, MRD48, Rac-1, TC-25, and ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 21.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
