Anti-AdPLA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AdPLA is a known alias name of the protein phospholipase A and acyltransferase 3, encoded by the PLAAT3 gene in humans. This 162-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the metabolism of lipids and lens fiber cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for AdPLA include H-REV107 and H-REV107-1.
