Anti-G protein subunit alpha transducin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GNAT1 in humans. The gene may also be known as GBT1, GNATR, CSNB1G, CSNBAD3, and guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(t) subunit alpha-1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 40 kilodaltons in mass. The GNAT1 marker can be used to identify Eye Photoreceptor Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
