Anti-OR1A2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily A member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 309 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1A2 is known to be involved with cell division and signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1A2, olfactory receptor 17-6, olfactory receptor OR17-10, and OR17-6. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR1A2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
