Anti-CAF1A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CAF1A is a known alias name of the protein CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 7, encoded by the CNOT7 gene in humans. This 285-amino acid residue protein is known to have 3'-5' poly(A) exoribonuclease activity for synthetic poly(A) RNA substrate. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell.
