Anti-OR51S1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily S member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 323 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 51S1 and olfactory receptor OR11-24. OR51S1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. ELISA is the most common application for the OR51S1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
