Anti-LCE1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein late cornified envelope 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 118 amino acid residues and a mass of 11.6 kDa. It is reported to have skin-specific expression. It is a member of the LCE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include late envelope protein 2, small proline rich-like (epidermal differentiation complex) 2A, small proline-rich-like epidermal differentiation complex protein 2A, and late cornified envelope protein 1B. ELISA is the most common application for the Lce1b antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
