Anti-HAUS5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HAUS augmin like complex subunit 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 633 amino acid residues and a mass of 71.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the HAUS5 protein family, HAUS5 is reported to contribute to mitotic spindle assembly, maintenance of centrosome integrity and completion of cytokinesis as part of the HAUS augmin-like complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include KIAA0841 and dgt5. HAUS5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the HAUS5 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot is also a common application.
