Anti-COMMD4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein COMM domain containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 199 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. COMMD4 is believed to modulate activity of cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes. Synonyms for this target antigen include COMM domain-containing protein 4. COMMD4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of COMMD4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
