Anti-DCAF4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 495 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.7 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. DCAF4 is believed to function as a a substrate receptor for CUL4-DDB1 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include WDR21A, WD repeat domain 21A, WD repeat-containing protein 21A, and WDR21. DCAF4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the DCAF4 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
