Anti-DCAF5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 942 amino acid residues and a mass of 104 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. DCAF5 is known to be involved with protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include BCRP2, D14S1461E, WDR22, WD repeat-containing protein 22, breakpoint cluster region protein, uterine leiomyoma, 2, and BCRG2. DCAF5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These DCAF5 antibodies are widely used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
