Anti-ATP5SL antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ATP5SL is a known alias name of the protein distal membrane arm assembly component 2, encoded by the DMAC2 gene in humans. This 257-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for the assembly of the mitochondrial NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex (complex I). It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
