Anti-RSK1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RSK1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RPS6KA1 gene, which encodes ribosomal protein S6 kinase A1. This protein is known to function in the cell cycle and chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological roles. The human version of RSK1 has a canonical amino acid length of 735 residues and a protein mass of 82.7 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HU-1, MAPKAPK1, and MAPKAPK1A. Western Blot is the most common application for the RSK1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
