CD297, or ADP-ribosyltransferase 4 (Dombrock blood group), is a human gene encoded by ART4. It may also be known as: Ecto-ADP-ribosyltransferase 4; ADP-ribosyltransferase C2 and C3 toxin-like 4; ARTC4; Dombrock blood group carrier molecule; Mono(ADP-ribosyl)transferase 4; NAD(P)(+)--arginine ADP-ribosyltransferase 4; CD antigen CD297; Ecto-ADP-ribosyltransferase 4 ; NAD(+)--protein-arginine ADP-ribosyltransferase 4; DO. The encoded protein is an enzyme with an amino acid length of 314 and a mass of 35.9 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. CD297 is a member of the Arg-specific ADP-ribosyltransferase family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Fly, Mouse, Rat, Zebrafish, Chicken.
