Anti-VODI antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target VODI is a known alias name of the protein SP110 nuclear body protein, encoded by the SP110 gene in humans. This 689-amino acid residue protein is known to be a type of transcription factor. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes and spleen. Other synonyms for VODI include IFI41, IFI75, and IPR1.
