Anti-Parathyroid hormone like hormone antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PTHLH in humans. The gene may also be known as PTHrP, BDE2, HHM, PLP, parathyroid hormone-related protein, and PTH-rP. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 20.2 kilodaltons in mass. The PTHLH marker can be used to identify Gray Matter Chandelier Neurons and Follicular Dendritic Cells (FDC).* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
