Anti-TMED8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane p24 trafficking protein family member 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.7 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix, tonsil, and adrenal gland. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 15, member B, transmembrane emp24 domain containing 8, transmembrane emp24 protein transport domain containing 8, and protein TMED8. TMED8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMED8 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
