Anti-ZFHX4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger homeobox 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 3567 amino acid residues and a mass of 393.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the brain, skeletal muscle and liver. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZFHX4 is believed to play a role in neural and muscle differentiation (By similarity). Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger homeobox protein 4 and zinc-finger homeodomain protein 4. ZFHX4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ZFHX4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
